Welcome to the PneuTrain®... 21st Century Transportation!

The PneuTrain® is a patented (U.S. Patent #  8,146,508), unique, supremely efficient, rapid, pneumatic mass transportation system. This system incorporates a free moving train of passenger/cargo cars through a tube infrastructure powered by a combination of differential air pressure forward and aft of the train. The train cars are cylindrical. They contact the tube surface via guide wheels. Air power for the system will be provided by stationary combustion turbines at both ends of the pneumatic tube run. Combustion turbines can be adapted and retrofitted to utilize alternative fuels including bio-fuels and fuel cell technology as they are explored and implemented. The integration of heat recovery steam generation recycles the hot turbine exhaust to generate the electrical power needed for the system’s controls. Air propulsion is generated through the use of large impellers in the tubes driven by the turbines. Speed control, acceleration and deceleration are all digitally controlled. The digital controls will vary the speed of the turbine engines, vary the pitch of the impeller blades and control the operation of the pressure release valves imbedded into the tube walls in direct relation to the throttle position.

Elon Musk's (Spacex, Tesla) recently unveiled concept of his Hyperloop underscores the long overdue need to develop tubular transportation with its safety, efficiency and independence from the elements.  However, its basis is still theoretical and its design with its seemingly endless, untested complexity is daunting at best to even the most optimistic scientists, manufacturers and investors. Unlike Musk's concept, the PneuTrain® is ready for practical development.  The mechanical technology that form its foundation (pneumatics, turbodynamics, heat recovery energy) are in practical use throughout the world.  Our patented system simply marries these currently applied sciences to revolutionize transportation.
